Weekend Preview: Weekend of June 22nd to 24th

Friday, June 22nd - Delaware Speedway near London, Ontario has a busy weekend scheduled starting with Late Models, Super Stocks, an Enduro Challenge and King of the Hill on Friday night. Spectator gates open at 6pm, Time Trials will be at 7:15pm and racing starts at 8pm. Friday, June 22nd - Humberstone Speedway in Port Colborne, Ontario celebrates the end of the school year with School’s Out Night featuring School Bus Races along with Fastrak Late Models, DIRTcar Sportsman, Street Stocks, Pro 4 Trucks, Mini Stocks and Pure Stocks. Friday, June 22nd - Kawartha Speedway in Fraserville, Ontario will run its second night of competition Friday with a full card of Late Models, Thunder Cars and Mini Stocks. Also joining the program will be the Ontario Legends Series. Pit gates open at 3pm, Grandstands open at 5pm and racing begins at 7pm. Friday, June 22nd - Ohsweken Speedway near Brantford, Ontario will have a large field of Sprint Cars on hand as Jones Brown Motorsports Insurance presents Round #1 of the Northern Summer Nationals. The event is co-sanctioned by the Corr/Pak Sprints, Southern Ontario Sprints and Patriot Sprint Tour. Round #2 will be Saturday night at South Buxton. Also on the card will be Thunder Stocks, Mini Stocks and Bombers. Gates open at 6pm, hot laps are at 7:20pm and racing ation starts at 7:45pm. Saturday, June 23rd - Barrie Speedway near Barrie, Ontario will get back to its regular weekly action featuring the Limited Late Models, Thunder Cars, Pure Stocks, Junkyard Dogs and King of the Hill races. Saturday, June 23rd - Brighton Speedway will open its gates for one of the biggest races of the year at the 1/3 mile clay oval in Brighton, Ontario. World of Outlaws Late Model stars Chub Frank and Rick Eckert will be on hand to compete in a special challenge race against some of the best Late Model drivers that Brighton has to offer. Monster Trucks Aftershock and Krazy Train will also be on the card along with Canadian Modifieds, Pro Stocks, Comp 4, Vantastics and the Eastern Ontario Vintage Modifieds. Saturday, June 23rd - Delaware Speedway will return to action on Saturday night with the running of the EMCO 200 for the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series. The Delaware Trucks will also be on the schedule. Gates open at 1:30pm with the start of practice. Qualifying for Trucks will be at 4:30pm with NASCAR qualifying taking place at 5:15pm. Saturday, June 23rd - Emo Speedway will return to action with all three regular divisions lined up including the WISSOTA Modifieds, Midwest Modifieds and Street Stocks. Saturday, June 23rd - Flamboro Speedway near Hamilton, Ontario presents Meet The Drivers Night giving fans the chance to get up and close to their favourite drivers. Saturday, June 23rd - South Buxton Raceway near Chatham, Ontario will play host to Round #2 of the Northern Summer Nationals for Sprint Cars. After teams compete at Ohsweken Friday night they will head down the road to South Buxton for the second part of this four race series. UMP Late Models, UMP Modifieds, Sport Stocks and Comp are also on the schedule. The main Grandstand gates open at 5:30pm while racing starts at 7pm. Saturday, June 23rd – Sunset Speedway in Innisfil, Ontario will try to return to action after a few weeks of wet weather forced cancelled events.
